Craelius 48TT/LTK48 Conventional Impregnated Core Bits

Features & benefits

  • high performance
  • Increased productivity

The combination of diamonds and matrix determine the performance of an impregnated bit. The simultaneous erosion of the matrix and the diamonds make the bit self sharpening. The ideal combination of optimal peneration rate and wear resistance matched to achieve the ultimate in drilling economy. In most geological formations, impregnated bits are more economical to use than surface set bits and they provide additional benefits. Conventional bits are primarily used in shallow holes as the rod needs to be retieved with each core sample. Thin kerf bits provide a larger core size for the same diameter hole.

HO-EX Compact core barrel system

Features & benefits

  • Cost-effective core barrels for high productivity in most ground conditions
  • Predominant and versatile design in mineral exploration

The compact surface double tube wireline core barrel uses a smaller, basic head assembly and is a predominant and extremely versatile core barrel configuration used in mineral exploration. The Compact core barrel is used in all but the most broken and friable ground conditions; it is designed for ease of use with drilling additives and loss control materials when required

Tapered rods

Features & benefits

  • Increased penetration rate
  • Longer service life
  • Lower drilling costs

Tapered equipment is a further development of the integral system where a comprehensive selection of bits can be used on the same rod. There are two standard hex rod sizes – 22mm or 25mm in diameter and up to 8000mm in length and a wide selection of bit designs for hole sizes 27-41mm (11/16″ to 15/8″).
