More features were designed into the T2W than any machine in its class, providing the benefits of larger, more expensive drilling rigs. With its open work area, excellent control of feed speed and exceptional on and off road mobility, the T2W is not only perfectly suited for water well drilling but also for a wide variety of environmental, air rotary and DTH drilling. The Atlas Copco T2W is a lightweight, truck-powered water well drill designed for air/mud applications.

Modular Concept

The Diamondback’s modular approach ensures the rig is easily adaptable to change even after the customer has taken delivery of the unit. The rig has a plug-and-play feel to it meaning the customer can easily add or remove components as desired. This feature allows the customer to purchase kits after the rig has been purchased.

Two Tower Lengths

Depending on your preference and application, we offer two tower lengths: a 34 ft tower and the longer 38 ft tower which will accommodate a casing hammer

Rod Handling

We have a number of different rod handling solutions to suit our customer’s requirements whether it is a single rod loading system, swing in/swing out carousel or our hands-free rod handlers we can cater for all requirements.

Catwalks

Made from a steel construction with FRP non-slip decking, these catwalks enable easy access from the driller’s platform down either side of the rig.

Dump Angle Mast

The Diamondback comes with dump angle mast capability, allowing the tower to be angled up to 45o. This feature can also be used to slide the tower up and down in the vertical position to either change the table height or lift the table out of the way for better clearance under the table for welding or setting a diverter.

Pre-Plumbed and Wired

Whether you buy the option from Atlas Copco or bolt it on afterwards, we have made life easier by providing the hydraulic hoses and electrical connections for all standard options in the base of the rig. This gives you the opportunity to add additional components at a later date or configure the rig how you like it.

FRP Decking

We have replaced the traditional steel deck with FRP grating. This material is not only robust and has significant weight savings over steel, but it also gives the advantage of lending itself to bolting components to the deck without the need for drilling or welding.

DM30: Rotary blasthole drill rig – Mid-range

The DM30 is a crawler mounted, hydraulic tophead drive, multi-pass rotary drilling rig specifically designed for production blasthole drilling to depths of 90 ft (27.4 m) with a 30 ft (9.1 m) drill pipe change. An optional 4-rod carousel supports drilling to depths of 150 ft (45.7 m). Nominal diameter is 5 in to 6¾ in (127 to 171 mm). The DM30 generates a bit load force of up to 30,000 lbf (133 kN). An angle-drilling option is also available. Utilizing a diesel engine to drive the air compressor and hydraulic system, the DM30 can be configured for low pressure rotary or high pressure DTH drilling.

DM25-SP: Rotary blasthole drill rig – Mid-range

The Atlas Copco DM25-SP is a crawler mounted, hydraulic table drive, rotary drilling rig specifically designed for production blasthole drilling to depths up to 50 ft (15.2 m) in a single pass without a pipe change. Tower options are available for both a 40 ft and a 50 ft clean hole tower. The DM25-SP is ideal in soft, non-abrasive applications suitable for kelly bar drilling and angle drilling is an option.

DM-M3: Rotary blasthole drill rig – Large-range

The Atlas Copco DM-M3 is a crawler mounted, hydraulic tophead drive, multi-pass rotary drilling rig primarily designed for deep drilling of overburden for cast blasting and is used at several of the largest coal mines in the world. The Atlas Copco DM-M3 has an onboard depth capability of 200 ft (61 m) using 10¾ in diameter drill pipe and up to 240 ft (73 m) using 8 5/8 in diameter drill pipe with a 5-rod carousel. Weight on bit is rated at 90,000 lbf (400 kN) using a patented hydrostatic, closed loop system acting through twin, double rod hydraulic cylinders and cable.

The semi-hydraulic down-the-hole drill rig AirROC D45 SH provides higher performance and lower fuel consumption compared to pure pneumatic crawlers, thanks to a dedicated, self-contained diesel engine for the hydraulic system. AirROC D40: Surface down the hole rig

AirROC D40 is a small pneumatic down the hole drill rig. With a compact design, it is perfect for drilling in inaccessible and narrow places, and an efficient choice for quarries and construction. It is easy to transport – light enough to be lifted by a helicopter – and very easy to set up and operate. Equipped with the powerful rotation unit BBR 4, it has a good drilling capability. Each track is powered by a hydraulic motor and a planetary gear drive.
